Where, exactly, did we get an obligation to feed those people from? Why do we owe them this gift? We are not stopping them from feeding themselves, we are simply refusing to keep giving them unearned money.
Nor did we refuse because we "don't agree with" their new government, but rather because their new government wants to annihilate one of our allies. Perhaps we should start a new policy: feed everyone in the world. Or, feed everyone who wants to kill our friends. That would be a rational, just policy, now wouldn't it?

Hamas had another option: it could have recognized Israel's right to exist, renounced its policy of killing all Israelis, and opened serious talks with Israel.
